2012 - A Year of Renewal

The Finnish Fair Corporation promotes Finnish wellbeing, by enabling successful face-to-face meetings. Fairs and exhibitions are the fifth largest medium in Finland, and the leading medium in terms of productivity, social dimensions and experiences.

In 2012, a total of 1.1 million visitors attended various events at the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre. Over the year, we hosted 95 exhibitions covering various areas and interests, as well as more than 1,600 meetings and congresses.

We invigorated Helsinki's city culture by opening our doors to new types of events, such as the Summer Sound festival for electronic music and the world-famous motor show, Top Gear Live.

In many respects, 2013 will be a year of major renewal for us. Galleria, the heart of the Exhibition & Convention Centre, and the northern entrance will receive a full makeover. We will build a more versatile restaurant world and introduce a new sign system. Our congress premises will also be treated to a facelift. Further information on the renewal:

We have almost a century of experience and expertise in our field. As Finland's leading events venue, we will combine our renowned expertise with a fresh approach. A more spacious, attractive and functional Centre will welcome visitors at the start of the exhibitions season in autumn 2013.
