Press centre and exhibition communications
The press centre caters for media representatives interested in the exhibition. Journalists come to the press centre to get accreditation and pick up press releases and leads for news stories. If a press conference for the event is organised, it will often be on the first day of the exhibition, which is also the busiest time at the press centre.
For journalists, the press centre offers a place where they can write stories, conduct interviews or do research. In the exhibition area journalists are identified by a PRESS badge.
You can issue a short press release on a product you’re showcasing at the exhibition or on your company. When you bring copies of the press release to the press centre, it will be made available to journalists.
If you’re organising your own press conference, notify the event’s Communications Officer, so that he or she can alert journalists.
